Webster has more than 13 years’ experience in the fleet market, having previously carried out various roles at Glasgow-based Fleet Alliance and worked in partnership with the fleet arm of the Expense Reduction Analysts.
Reporting to FLUK and Ireland Country Head, Sue Branston, her experience will be used to help develop and drive the growth of the business in the UK and Ireland.
Commenting on her appointment, Webster said: “The opportunity to increase our presence at a local level is significant. Fleet Logistics is a progressive market leader of fleet services and I'm excited to become part the FLUK team.“
Webster, who is a qualified Professional Fleet Consultant with the British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association and an Associate of the Institute of Car Fleet Management, said she had been impressed with Fleet Logistics’ global fleet management credentials which had seen the company’s contracted and managed fleet grow to around 180,000 vehicles.
“I’m delighted to be joining a commercial operation where the model is based on the transparency of both the value proposition and of client relationships.
“The services and expertise offered by the Fleet Logistics team, combined with the IT capabilities of the business, have a tangible impact for clients regardless of whether they operate on a cross-border or a purely local basis,” she said.
Sue Branston said she welcomed the new appointment which she saw as a key part of FLUK’s plans for further expansion in the country.
“We are delighted to welcome someone with Madelaine’s extensive experience to Fleet Logistics UK and are sure that she will be a driving force behind our current and ongoing expansion plans,” she said.
When not working within fleet management, Webster has an interest in the wines and spirits industry, having been awarded a Diploma from the Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET), which is seen as the stepping stone to the prestigious Master of Wine qualification.
